I was injured in Chicago, and had to go to a chiropractor in Oklahoma and then saw a chiropractor back home (Ontario, Oregon) who could manage the pain. One day my fingers and hands wouldn’t work. The chiropractor had me in for a MRI-type thing and had me see a neurosurgeon who wanted $40,000. Progressive wouldn’t pay anything and hadn’t paid for any of the bills.

The chiropractor told me I needed a lawyer and got me in touch with Barry.

After talking to Barry, he got involved and got something out of Progressive. One day he called with some options. He found the Washington insurance company wrote the policy on the Oregon company I worked for and there were higher limits. Less than 1/10 of 1% of attorneys would have found this. I’m amazed he found this. I knew I wasn’t dealing with an ambulance chaser.

He’s probably a very busy person and very efficient minded. I’m on a need to know basis, until something happened and then he would let me know. He was busy on it the whole time. I don’t have any complaints in any way of anything he’s done. I was really surprised he put as much time and effort in getting the resolution that he did.

Highly recommend. More so than any attorney I know and I have two good friends that are attorneys. As far as attorney and a person who is going to take care of business and do what he said he’s going to do, never known an attorney who is as close to what he’s done for me. As an attorney he’s a 10, as a person he’s a 10+. Very efficient at getting things done and more important than that he’s a good person. That stuck out to me more than anything.

Barry was very concerned about my well being. You know when you go to hire an attorney they tell you the pros and cons. He really did that for me. He told me what I was up against and what was weak about my case and the reasons why. And at first I didn't like it, but who does?

He's a good guy. He's really laid back. He explained every inch of the way what I would go through. I had a Worker's Comp case before but of course it's different. I couldn't understand why they weren't paying my medical bills along the way and he said ‘send the bills to me, you get a lump sum at the end'.
