Fall from Ladder on CTA Construction Project Yields Settlement

A CTA flagger was injured while working with construction crews she was assigned to assist during the CTA Green Line rehabilitation project. The crews removed the base of the ladder leading from the station to track level in order to dig underneath it, resulting in a loss of stability to the ladder. The client fell backwards, suffering a herniated disc in her neck, requiring a cervical fusion operation. (Cook County)
