Three Injured in Early Morning Chicago Crash
July 12, 2010 - Three people suffered serious personal injuries on Saturday when two cars collided on the Northwest side of Chicago. According to reports at the Chicago Breaking News Center, the car accident occurred shortly after midnight on Saturday morning.
Police say two cars crashed at the intersection of North Elston and North Cicero Avenues in the Jefferson Park neighborhood. There is no word on how the car crash occurred or who was to blame. The victims have not yet been identified, but police say that three people were transported to local hospitals in critical condition. Two of the victims are receiving treatment for their personal injuries at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, while another victim in critical condition is being treated at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
Police continue to investigate this serious car crash and will likely release more details, as well as the identities of the victims, in the coming days. More information about this car accident will be added if and when it becomes available.
