South Side Chicago Car Accident Kills One

June 7, 2010 - One woman is dead after a fatal car accident on the South Side of Chicago. According to reports at Chicago Breaking News, the multi-vehicle accident occurred shortly after 9 a.m. on Saturday morning in Hyde Park. The victim has been identified as a 47-year-old woman who lived on South Wabash Avenue in Chicago. 

Although the investigation into this crash is ongoing, initial police reports indicate that two vehicles were involved in a collision on East 58^th Street. Police have not released any information on how the crash occurred or who was at fault. The victim was taken to North Western Memorial Hospital, where she died early the next morning at approximately 3 a.m.

There was another vehicle involved in this fatal crash, but police have not said if that driver suffered any personal injuries. No other injuries were reported initially. Deputies with the Chicago Police Department are investigating this car accident to determine how it occurred.
