Six seriously injured in Saline County auto accident

A Saline County motor vehicle accident resulted in serious injuries to the six people who rising in the two cars involved in the collision.  The accident occurred on December 27 on Illinois Route 34 just outside of Harrisburg.  One of the vehicles lost control on the slick roads and crossed over the center line resulting in a head-on collision.  Several of the accident victims had to be airlifted from the scene due to the severity of their injuries.
