Seven Injured in Edgewater Car Crash
June 29, 2010 - Seven people suffered personal injuries on Sunday in a serious car accident in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago. According to reports at The Chicago Breaking News Center, the accident left three people with serious injuries; another four people suffered minor injuries.
The car accident occurred around noon on Sunday, but police have not said how the crash happened or how many cars were involved. Police have reported that the car accident occurred at the intersection of Sheridan Road and Granville Avenue in Edgewater, but they have not released information on who was at fault for the crash.
The victims are receiving treatment for their personal injuries at St. Francis Hospital, Weiss Memorial Hospital and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. At least three of those victims suffered serious injuries. Their identities and ages have not been released, and their conditions are currently unknown. Police have not said if any charges will be filed in this serious car crash. More information will be added if and when it becomes available from the Chicago Police Department.
