Sevelyor Tow Behind Quick Hitch Connector Recalled

The CPSC has issued a recalled notice for the Sevylor Tow Behind Quick Hitch Connector manufactured by Seveca LLC.  The recalled product is a hitch for devices such as inner tubes which may be towed behind a boat.  The hitch has cracked on some occasions with the hitch being propelled back toward the boat while still attached to the tow rope.  This defective recreational equipment has caused at least one serious injury.

We always recommend that those who are injured as a result of a defective or dangerous product make certain to preserve the remains of the product if they wish to make a defective product case against the manufacturer.  The loss or destruction of the remains of the product can result in the dismissal of a suit against the manufacturer.
