Rollover Accident in Kane County Injures One
July 8, 2010 - A single-vehicle accident in Kane County injured one man, police say. According to reports at the Chicago Breaking News Center, the 44-year-old man from Campton Hills was driving on Silver Glenn Road when he lost control of his vehicle. The victim was ejected from the car and suffered serious personal injuries. Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The car accident occurred shortly after 4 p.m. on Monday. Police say the victim was driving his Jeep Cherokee on Silver Glenn Road when he lost control near a bend in the road. Before coming to a stop, the Jeep rolled down an embankment.
The 44-year-old victim is receiving treatment for his personal injuries at Delnor Community Hospital. Police say his injuries could be fatal. The Kane County Sheriff's Department and Campton Hills Police Department continue to investigate this serious car accident and will be reconstructing the accident to determine how it occurred. More information on this crash will be added if and when it becomes available. No other injuries were reported.
