Rollover Accident in Chicago Injures Eight
June 18, 2010 - Eight people suffered personal injuries on Wednesday after a two-car accident that resulted in a vehicle rollover. According to reports at My Fox Chicago, the car accident occurred around 4 p.m. on the Southwest Side of Chicago.
Police have not said how the rollover accident occurred or who was to blame. The cars were traveling on Western Avenue at the intersection with 23rd Street when the collision occurred. The force from the car accident caused one of the cars to rollover. In total, 8 people were injured, but the identities of the victims have not been released. The injured victims are receiving treatment for their injuries at various local hospitals, including John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County and the University of Illinois Medical Center.
The conditions of the injured victims are currently unknown, but at least some of the victims were admitted in serious condition. Police are still investigating this rollover accident, and more information will be added if and when it becomes available.
