One Injured in Naperville Rollover Accident

May 27, 2010 - A Chicago resident was injured on Tuesday when his car rolled over on a Naperville freeway. According to reports at the Naperville Daily Herald, the unidentified victim suffered back injuries in the rollover accident.

The car accident occurred shortly after 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Police reports indicate that the victim was cut off by a 26-year-old woman, who was driving on Route 59 at Interstate 88. The victim tried to avoid the woman's vehicle, but ended up crashing into a curb and rolling over. The victim's vehicle was then hit by the 26 year old's car. The victim initially appeared uninjured, but later said that his back was bothering him. He was treated for back injuries at Edward Hospital.

Police have not released the victim's identity, and his current condition is unknown. The female driver received a citation for her role in causing this rollover accident. Durgam was uninjured in the crash, and no other cars were involved. First responders were forced to close Route 59 to clean up debris from the rollover.
