June 23, 2010 – Numerous people suffered serious personal injuries on Monday in a multi-vehicle accident in Chicago. According to reports at the Chicago Breaking News Center, the accident injured 5 people, including 3 who were very seriously injured.Few details are available about the car accident, although police are continuing their investigation into how the crash occurred. The collision was reported around 7:30 p.m. on Monday night when an unknown number of cars crashed at the intersection of Laramie and Chicago Avenues on Chicago’s West Side; at least 2 vehicles were involved.The identities of the victims have not been released, but a spokesman for the Chicago Fire Department tells the Chicago Breaking News Center that 3 of the victims are in critical condition. They are being treated at Loyola University Hospital, Loretto Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital. The 2 other victims injured in this accident are in serious condition at West Suburban Medical Center.
