Multi-Vehicle Accident in Chicago Injures Five
June 23, 2010 - Numerous people suffered serious personal injuries on Monday in a multi-vehicle accident in Chicago. According to reports at the Chicago Breaking News Center, the accident injured 5 people, including 3 who were very seriously injured.
Few details are available about the car accident, although police are continuing their investigation into how the crash occurred. The collision was reported around 7:30 p.m. on Monday night when an unknown number of cars crashed at the intersection of Laramie and Chicago Avenues on Chicago's West Side; at least 2 vehicles were involved.
The identities of the victims have not been released, but a spokesman for the Chicago Fire Department tells the Chicago Breaking News Center that 3 of the victims are in critical condition. They are being treated at Loyola University Hospital, Loretto Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital. The 2 other victims injured in this accident are in serious condition at West Suburban Medical Center. More information on the cause of this car accident will be added if and when it becomes available.
