Exercise balls recalled

The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the voluntary recall of exercise balls made by the EB Brands company and sold under under labels for Baly Total Fitness, Everlast, Valeo, and Body Fit.  Overinflation of the calls can result in a sudden loss of air pressure witrh the user collapsing to the floor.  Several injuries, including a fracture have been reported.  Current owners of the exercise balls are to contact the manufacturer for new instructions regarding the use of the balls.

Product manufacturers have an obligation to provide proper instructions for the use and assembly of the product.  When they fail to do so and someone is injured using the product, there is a potential case against the product manufacturer.
