Two people were injured in Fieldon, Illinois after a motorcycle tried to make a pass on Illinois Route 16. The accident happened on a Sunday in June, while Stanley Bland, 57, and his passenger, Belinda West, 53, were heading east on the highway.According to a report from Telegraph.com, Bland had attempted to make the pass when another vehicle allegedly veered into the motorcycle’s lane of traffic, causing the motorcycle to side-swipe a guardrail and fall onto its side. Both riders were thrown from the motorcycle, and subsequently taken to Jersey Community Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
